Bourgogne is doninated by rivers. The Yonne flows north to join the Seine, the Loire flows along the western boundary of Bourgogne and the Saone flows south.
It has been said that for every 6 drops of rain that flalls in Bourgogne, 2 enter the English Channel, 2 into the Atlantic Ocean and 2 into the Mediterrean. All of the rivers are connected by canals.
There are Huge forests, rolling hills and lakes in the Morvan National Park.
